Maya Skies

Preview of Asset Offerings

CHABOT SPACE AND SCIENCE CENTER, INSTITUTE FOR STUDY AND INTEGRATION OF GRAPHICAL HERITAGE TECHNIQUES

Preview asset listing (March 1, 2009)

Overview

The Chabot Space and Science Center is making production assets from the forthcoming full dome show Maya Skies available for licensing

Media types range from HD Video and time-lapse footage to 3D assets and scenes suitable for use in documentary production. The asset set

portrays Chichen as it appears today as well as its appearance in the past.

Chichen Itza, the most well-known ancient Maya city, is the focus of Maya Skies. Most of our material centers on this site.

The Pyramid of Kukulkan / Castillo, a structure that has become synonymous with the Maya culture, is sited at Chichen.

How to Use these Media Samples

The goal of this listing is to provide a taste of the media available in our data library to producers working on documentary films relating

to the Maya civilization. The inventory below represent many assets being used for Maya Skies production. Entries are listed by media,

with at least few examples of each category provided to give a general assessment. This is a preview because Maya Skies is still in active

production. Interested producers, however, are invited to contact us for production updates for assets of interest.
